World's Largest Solar Photovoltaic Project to be Built in Nevada

LAS VEGAS, Feb. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Powered by Renewables (PBR) of Nevada http://www.pbrcorp.com, announced today it will partner with SunEdison of Maryland to develop the world's largest solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Nevada. The 18 megawatt (MW) project almost doubles what is currently the world's largest PV project (10MW) located in Germany.

That was all fine and good until I read this part:

The proposed project will be privately owned and operated. The military intends to purchase electricity from the project.

And once again the true fascist nature of our country is revealed. The only two true evils in the world are combined and cooperating (heh, yeah, big suprise there). The evil of private industry and the military working together overrides any other conceivable good. The private company will likely turn a profit, and the military, is well, the military. If you don't see the repugnancy of this arrangement you have to WAKE UP and TAKE A LOOK AROUND ONCE IN AWHILE WHY DONT YOU.

Until such time as our culture advances to the point of not using electricity as Gaia intended, a paradise in which we crap outdoors and eat bugs and gathered berries in symbiotic, rashy harmony with the earth spirit, we're going to need to generate electricity somehow in the interim so we can ween the sheeple off of their cancerous addiction.

Everyone enlightened, like me, knows the only good source of power is hugs. If spiritually clean power generation were personified, she would be Dakota Fanning hugging an oversized teddy bear in a sunflower field feeding an icecream cone to a puppy under a rainbow, but it wouldn't be obvious that she's female.

Androgynous puppy hugs!

UPDATE: Yeah, sorry for that. I was under the mistaken impression that that would be funny.
